Attention Unit Leaders!!!!! Please take a few minutes to update your unit profile on the Google Map at www.beascout.org. This is a great tool with School Night for Scouting coming up. It allows interested youth and parents to click on a unit and see information regarding meeting location, meeting times, etc. There is a webinar presentation posted on the National website at www.scouting.org under the volunteer tab to help you get started and understand what the Google Map can do to help your unit add members. Under the Volunteer tab, you should click on BeAScout Webinar Presentation in the Quick Links along the right side of the menu.
Also be aware, that the signs that will be posted at the schools promoting School Night for Scouting will direct them to the www.beascout.org website. We greatly encourage you to take some time and get your unit set up so interested Scouts and parents can see how great your unit is.
