This is the last chance for Venture Crews, Venture Patrols and Scouts 14 years and older to sign up for the High Adventure Extravaganza that will be held at Camp Bob Hardin March 12-14. This is a Council High Adventure Outing and we encourage Scouts from all Districts to sign up, but since we need to purchase the ammunition shortly, we do need to cutoff the sign ups this coming Friday, 3/5/10.
Also a note to those that are already signed up: Everyone will be staying in the Adirondacks, so you only need your sleeping gear, clothing, food and cookig gear. But there is NO RUNNING WATER at the camp right now, os you need to plan to bring a five gallon container (already filled with water) taht can hold enough water for the weekend.
Please stop by the Nature Lodge and check in as you arrive so we can direct you to your campsite.
High Adventure Extravaganza Event Schedule
The five activities are Climbing & Rappelling, Archery, Rifle Shooting, Shotgun Shooting and Canoe Slalom.
Friday 3/12
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Arrival and assignment of campsites
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm - Free time
10:00pm - Lights out
Saturday 3/13
7:00 - 8:00 am - Breakfast
8:00 - 8:30 am - Opening, form groups, instructions
8:30 - 10:00 am - Activity 1
10:00 - 11:30 am - Activity 2
11:30 - 12:30 pm - Lunch
12:30 - 2:00 pm - Activity 3
2:00 - 3:30 pm - Activity 4
3:30 - 5:00 pm - Activity 5
5:00 - 8:00 pm - Free time and dinner
8:00 pm - Campfire
10:00 pm - Lights out
Sunday 3/14
7:00 - 8:00 am - Breakfast
8:00 - 9:30 am - Campsite tear down
9:30 - 10:00 am - Scouts own service and closing
10:00 am - Depart CBH
