Camp Bob Hardin is currently accepting applications for several positions that are open on the 2010 summer camp staff. Applications are available on our website on the "Camps" page. Applications should be mailed to the Council Office. Interviews will be held at the end of February.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old for paid positions. The camp is also accepting applications for CIT's (Counselors in Training). These are non-paid positions for Scouts 14 years old or older. CIT's may volunteer to work one or more weeks of summer camp.

Positions Available:
Ecology Area Director - Must be 18 years old and have at least 2 years college in the field of ecology or attend National Camp School.

TREK Area Director - Must be 21 years old and attend National Camp School. Must be in great physical condition and able to plan and carry out the TREK Activities for weeks when scout units have signed up for TREK. Weeks may be limited only to the staff week and weeks that units have signed up for TREK.

Archery Instructor - Must be 18 years old and complete archery training provided by the camp Shooting Sports Director.

Instructors/Counselors - Must be 15 years old and attend Council provided training. Areas that are open are Handicraft, Ecology, and Scoutcraft.

Dishwashing Staff - Must be 16 years old and be willing to work long hours assisting with kitchen duties and cleaning of dishes and dining hall. Hours start at 5:45 am and end after dinner dishes are cleaned with a few hours of breaks during the day.

CAMP DATES FOR ALL STAFF IS MAY 30TH - JULY 18TH. ALSO, THERE WILL BE A SATURDAY TRAINING DATE IN MARCH, APRIL, AND MAY THAT STAFF WILL BE REQUESTED TO ATTEND.
