National Jamboree Informational Meeting

An informational meeting will be held on Saturday March 21st at 2:30 pm at the Buford Street Methodist Church in Gaffney for scouts and scout families who have been selected, or are still considering attending the 2010 National Jamboree. This meeting will provide the most update information regarding our council’s 2010 National Jamboree plans. We will review the jamboree cost and payment schedule; provide the latest schedule of pre jamboree training and events, discuss jamboree travel and tour information, provide personal scout and troop equipment lists, and answer any questions you may have at this time. Leaders will be available to assist with Jamboree registration for those scouts wanting to be considered for membership in one of our two council troops. If you have been considering attending the 2010 National Jamboree and still have questions, this is the meeting to attend. There are limited slots left in our two troops. Once the troops are filled additional applicants will be placed on a waiting list, selected and assigned if spaces become available. Don’t miss an opportunity to become part of Scouting history as Scouting celebrates its 100th Anniversary at the 2010 National Jamboree. Don’t get Left behind - Come and Check it out.

Scouts should always attend all events in full scout uniform.
