The Palmetto Council website has a new page called "Forums". This page will host council sponsored forums to facilitate the distribution and exchange of information. Additionally, all council sponsored district sites can have this same capability.

On the council site, one forum will serve as a council email list. Postings to this forum can be made, by Registered Users, while visiting the website -- or -- by email. Further, Registered Users of the website will be "subscribed" to the forum and have all postings emailed to them. These emails can be by individual posting, or be daily or weekly digests, at the users option. Users can un-subscribe at any time by visiting the forum or by email.

Another forum will be an Announcements forum. This forum will be used by the council to broadcast announcements and will replace the announcements tab on the website's home page.

Another forum will be used exclusively for distributing the Palmetto Post.

Another will be for the council's commissioners to use to communicate between themselves.

Other forums can be created at any time to serve a specific committee, event, or other function.

All forums can be email enabled and subscription enabled as needed.
